Pickering Air Conditioning Repair, Service and Installation

The furnace won’t start.
If your furnace won’t start, first check that your furnace switch is turned on. If it is, check the thermostat and make sure that it’s set to “heat”. Another solution to this problem is to check your circuit breaker. If it’s still not working after that, then there may be a short in the furnace wiring.
The furnace blows cold air.
If there’s no heat, then make sure the furnace has power. An easy way to do so is to turn the fan switch to “On” from “Auto”. Be sure to switch it back to “Auto” afterwards. If the fan is blowing then there is enough power. The next thing to check is if your gas line is turned on.
The carbon monoxide alarm goes off.
This is the most serious furnace issue and should be taken very seriously. Firstly, turn off the furnace from the thermostat, not from the furnace room. Open doors and windows and get everyone outside. Then call 911.

We are very happy to recommend this company to everyone. Our furnace broke down on Sunday morning. We phoned them and before noon Grant the owner showed up. He worked on the furnace for about a hour not wanting to give up to fix the problem. The furnace was 17 years old. I was the one talking about replacing it. End result was the next day it was all done. On the Sunday Bob came over with heaters to warm up the house. We decided to replace the water heater at the same time. TwinTech is an excellent and honest company! I called them for a second opinion after being told by another company that I needed to replace my furnace. Turns out this was not the case at all!
